3 new litters ahead with pups in every corner

This week has completely slipped through my fingers and passed in a flash.

Dogs play,  kiddos travel,  families visit,  weather fluxes and twists and mama dogs grow.

I am now ecstatic to officially announce that I have ultrasound confirmation on viable pregnancies with all 3 of my girls.

Leia was the last one I was waiting on to see if I could pick up those little dancing dots on the screen.

Sure enough,  we are now expecting pups with all 3 of these mamas.

Meiko is my experienced mama with this being her 4th litter. She is calm, collected, serene and content.

Isla knows what is ahead with this being her 2nd litter. She notices the changes in her body,  reacts but settles. She is extra clingy yes, which is completely normal but she is also peaceful and has a sense of calmness about her.

Leia is my 1st time mama and is completely thrown for a loop of what is happening within her. She sticks to me like glue and asks for reassurance constantly. This behavior is extremely typical and the clinginess is common.

She will be an exceptional mama and I cannot wait to see her with her pups. She'll settle instantly into her role.  She has been my little helper with puppy raising right along side Tonka. She was the one that coddled and gently played with baby Tonka when he came in.  Ok maybe 'tolerated' is a better word! She has patience that stretches for miles,  never gets annoyed with anything or anyone and is sweet as pie. She was also the one that taught Tonka how to gently interact with the new litters of pups that came in.

My team together is amazing.

My mamas don't quite have that obvious belly bump photo to bring to you all but they do have that 'lovely' I'm getting thick and losing my girlie figure look.  That in-between stage that we all 'love'... is she pregnant?  Or just a little chonky lately?!

New updated ultrasound images show little dots turning into peanuts and peanuts into cashews and soon into actual images of pups growing healthy and strong.

I'm incredibly excited after all this time to get these pups on the ground and finally fill homes with these long awaited fluff balls.  New friends,  traveling companions, service dog prospects, friends for fur friends and new heart and home fillers.

Our little Neema is growing like a weed on fertilizer.  Gangly and leggy, sharky and hungry. The rate of growth at this age is astounding. She almost sprouted right in front of my eyes. That tiny wee pup I picked up last month only lasted a whole 3 days. Her coat is already changing from baby fluff to a new and matured tufted new coat. She'll go through a few more of these coat changes though in the next couple of years.

She's a typical kid in every aspect which I LOVE. She's doing everything a new kid should be doing. Looking all innocent when she attempts to dig a hole under a stump, Looks all cutesy when she's just run smack into the side of the tunnel, Looks at me as if I didn't see her eating bits of bark off the top of the big stump, bites everyone in sight, tries to consume the ties on my hat, wiggly as all get out and thinks she's constantly starving to death. I wouldn't expect anything different.

She's also smart as a whip. She'll stop on a dime when I tell her to, waits in a doorway after only showing her how to do it once, races straight into her crate and stays there door open until her food is presented, waits for her food until I tell her ok, stays in her crate until released and is learning how to control her baby energy each and every day.

Tonka and her are glued together at the hip and play like mad constantly. Tonka continues to be phenomenal with her. I am beyond excited to see his demeanor being passed down to his own pups.

My days are filled with these 2 romping, playing and running into my legs playing every second. The mamas try to be under my hands at every chance they can get thinking I must have 3 hands.

At the end of the day everyone is content, happy, peaceful, energy expelled, and ready to hit the hay.

Sending positive puppy vibes out to everyone as I am sure the next week ahead will also fly by as well as the few short weeks left until these pups start showing up.
