'Every Cloud has a silver lining'

The saying 'When it rains it pours' seems upfront to have a negative connotation, In English, "when it rains, it pours" is often assumed that when one bad thing happens, other bad things often accompany it.

but really, the positive shines through here and when you focus on your perspective it makes all the difference.

This saying was created for the Morton Salt Company over a century ago to let everyone know — as opposed to other branded salts — their salt did not cake up when the weather was humid or it rained. In other words, it weathers through adversity.

So as my week whirls around me I focus on everything special, joyful and memorable.

'Every cloud has a silver lining'

'Coming up roses'

'count your blessings'

'over the moon' are all positive idioms that I focus on as life comes in waves. They are waves of huge milestones and moments to concrete into my own personal story with absolute joy and pride.

3 out of my 4 (human) girls moved this weekend.... all at once, in different directions. Remembering where my focus needed to be tunneled into, I put one foot in front of the other and found the silver lining in what could have been a stormy few days.

Neema is only now 11 wks. old and still very much a wee fur babe, so under my arm she went. The adult dogs can stay home a bit longer than the babe. She did incredible traveling, in her crate when needed, running up and down apartment hallways, peeing inside the old and new apartment units (partly because of because hectically busy but also because it was safer) and crashing in the cold shower as everyone buzzed around her.

The adaptivity of pups is amazing and she shined in this area left and right. The heat was a bit rough but at the end of the day the air cooled and the day welcomed her home to the rest of the pack.

Juggling the dogs through these moves was a bit hectic but I made it happen with my team behind me and now everyone settles their dust, wipes their tears, calms their nerves and starts to make new connections with their new roommate/sister dynamics. Oh what a crazy but special time in their lives.

At the end of these days I always reconnect with my dogs and play into the cool evenings and let them romp and play endlessly. They are the ones that re-balance me and bring me back to my center. They remind me to live in the moment, find happiness in the ones around you, find joy being under a loved ones wing, snuggle whenever possible, run just because it feels good, don't snap at your loved ones when they bite, they only want love and attention, check in often with the ones you love, lean into others that love you, remember to water yourself often, snack constantly, and find joy in everything. I could go on and on really.

All the dogs are doing incredible. Individually and as a pack. All the girls are under my hand, against my leg, checking in all the time, coming for love, and tuning in to everything around them. These are all signs of a positive pregnancy but also just signs that I have incredibly sweet and loving Goldens. The week ahead will be telling.

Next week we should be able to run the ultrasound over them and hopefully bring good news to you all of some viable pregnancies with little peanuts visible.

Everyone continues to be loaded with garden greens, vitamins, supplements and nutritious goodness to support what is ahead.

Even little Neema at only 11 wks old is handling more and more greens everyday just fine.

Tonka continues to be obsessed  with Neema and she with him as well. They play constantly and I stand back watching the energy deplete in front of my eyes doing nothing at all.

She eating up skills as fast as I can throw them at her. Kennel training improved within only a few short sessions of instructions, patience with food, gates, doors and platforms came instantly and now duration is under way. This breed is incredibly smart and so eager to please that we have to guide them with speed and clarity as they gobble up direction so quickly and easily.

My darling pack is bonded and runs and flows seamlessly everyday. Tonka is in no way the leader of the pack or has any dominance level just because he is male. It's a common misconception that the male runs some sort of alpha or leadership role when you have a pack of dogs. All my dogs have a lovingly balanced place around here and live together in unity which is amazing and phenomenal to watch. I melt in my moments I get to spend with them, watching them not only check in with me but with the other dogs as well. Their moods of course ebb and flow, shift and shuffle and so do the dynamics between them. Just like my human girls, everything very much ebbs and flows between them. They are the ones the help me parent my girls. I will be forever grateful to each and every one of them for this.

Meiko is always looking for me, leaning or pondering. Isla looking like a million bucks glows literally and figuratively, Leia melts everything and everyone around her with sweetness, Tonka is pure bliss and happiness, and little Neema brings the giggles and oozes with entertainment for everyone.

So as the dust settles with the bustle and hustle of this past week with my family, things change, shift and present new challenges, I remind them ....

"Life is tough my darlings, but so are you" 💖
