Once again I am blessed to soon have pups (literally)  in every corner.  Nursery #1 being gorgeous Nursery #2 being stunning and Nursery #3 down right captivating. Each litter bringing something slightly different but equally incredible and as sweet as can be.  There are so many stories that I get to be part of, lives that I can to change and hearts that I get the opportunity to help heal.  I embrace every moment and all that comes with what's ahead.

The prep work continues around here wrapping my head around the fact that I am again going (get to) to be kicked into overdrive here soon.  Nursery panels erected, whelping boxes constructed, dozens and dozens of towels in every cupboard and the chance to be part of it all. Files get filled with details, meds get re-ordered, microchips get counted, new pink, yellow and blue GPS collars get laid out. This is a new addition for these pups from these litters. Each one will go home with a free collar with free service from FI GPS. Thank you FI!

I am always wishing I could stop time as I watch baby potatoes turn into fluff balls then turn into short wobbly footstools and soon into small snuggly land sharks who very well convince you that they are the best thing on earth.  I can't argue.

For now though we close out our week with me hoping hormones will die down sooner rather than later. It's been quite a wild couple of weeks. So much fun has been had! Lots of playtime,  romping, rolling and chasing took place.  Pining through fences was in full force.

Everyone gets/got along like peaches and cream though and other than the 1 broken nail nail on Tonka we didn't encounter any other issues or challenges along the way in this chapter.  Other breeders in my circle have indeed run into challenges unfortunately within their processes recently that we didn't face so I am incredibly blessed. Pulling all good energy from every source our way for smooth sailing ahead.

Next step is pregnancy confirmation on these 3 girls in 3-4 wks. Via ultrasound. This will not give a puppy count but will confirm life and that is enough for me. Whether it's a couple pups or a dozen, I welcome them all.  As you may have guessed by the litter names and how many there are,  my guess is 10 pups each for Meiko and Isla and 8 for wee Leia.

Everyone has been thoroughly enjoying this gorgeous weather and sun basking to their hearts content. I cross my fingers and toes for what’s ahead as I watch my mamas to be relax and soak up their down time that will be invaded in a short couple of months. I as well value every moment of my ‘downtime’ as much as that isn’t really a term for me around here.

We send out all our best to all our families on board here with us as they dream, prep and get ready for their baby land shark to arrive oh so soon.
