Well here we are you guys.. my girls did exactly what I anticipated them doing at this point... they. ALL. synced. up. Yes, ALL 3 are currently in heat.
I am still wrapping my head around the magnitude of this but I am definitely kicked into full speed around here! I don't seem to be 'offered' a middle speed, it's either a casual cruise control or pedal to the metal. I am simply blessed though by any and all pups that arrive here whether they are spaced apart or all within a week of each other.
I'm hoping my breeding plans will all be successful and therefore we will be welcoming 3 litters of pups, yes, all within a week or so of one another. The week before Thanksgiving throughout the week after will be our going home dates.
The benefit of having so many litters show up at the same time is that the families have the option to look at all the pups at the same time. You will indeed be initially assigned to a certain litter list as pups show up depending on dates and requests on file but you will also have the benefit of jumping off and onto a different list if you would like. Please feel free and don't hesitate of course to contact me at any time if you have questions on what list you are currently on or in line for. We can always adjust along the way.
My excitement is starting to grow and surpass my anxiety of this all. New and additional nursery items will be ordered to keep up to what's ahead. Valuing extra sleep now and slower paced days. The weeks ahead will be bustling with my breeding plans and everything it entails but I'm fully going to soak in the weeks in between before this full flood of pups is upon me. These 3 photos are as close to PG13 as I could get showing you my playing, flirting and courting that is happening around here!
Tonka is planned to be paired with Meiko and Isla and then Leia is planned to be paired with an outsourced stud almost out of state. Pre breeding checks and tests have all been completed and new tests are currently taking place to time everything as close as possible to have the highest success rates we can in having successful pregnancies.
Leia and I will be traveling out of town for 3 days to complete her breeding. I am incredibly grateful for my daughters especially during this time to have them stay in with my other dogs while I complete this task at hand.
I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch but I am a strong believer in always stating things as if they are already a reality. So here I share my litter themes of these litters ahead.

Let's fast forward a couple of years....
My goal is to work down to a solid 3 dog program but to be able to do that new dogs always need to be brought in, kept back and added to be able to have a well oiled and smooth geared program. As dogs start their breeding career here with me, new pups need to be added to be able to give them enough time to grow up, be tested accurately and be considered for a potential breeding prospect here. I always have my eyes and ears open for that perfect prospect pup to add in here.
With all that said, please welcome darling sweet perfect little Neema Zae.
She brings in new lines for us here which I can't be more ecstatic about. Her parents are Serbia and Ukraine imports and have wide, thick solid structure and calm soothing personalities. Here's a photo of Neema's mom.
This whole litter of pups was extremely tuned in, low energy and sweet as pie. Her sweetness is already shining brightly.
My daughter that helps me around here the most, who is currently over in Tanzania doing mission work has named this pup.
Neema pronounced NEIGH-MA means GRACE in Swahili. Simple elegance with refined movement. It fits her perfectly. My pack accepted her immediately and she is prancing around the big dog yard with everyone like she's been here the whole time.
Tonka is in love with her already and is stunned by her beauty. He stops instantly when she gets near him and lets her munch on his ears for as long as she wants. A match made in heaven.
I'm hopeful for her future here with us and can't wait to see how she blossoms. She will have a playmate very soon around here her own size as I very much so am still planning on keeping back a Leia pup to add to my program as well. This 3 dog program plan starts years in advance, hence this next chapter ahead for me that has 6 dogs in it for awhile.
I am grateful that my dogs held out just in time for when my daughter gets back from her travels so she can tie back in with me here and once again be my right hand girl. I am grateful my summer yard care will be coming to a close once these pups show up.
I am grateful for each and every family that has been incredibly trusting, patient and confident in me and my program here. So much to be grateful for. So as Thanksgiving gets circled on the calendar with a big red marker, may we all be a touch more thankful this year for this next added in piece to our hearts and home.
