Simply Loving Life

Rain, sprinkles, moisture, romping, kittens, sunbathing and endless summer fun fills our days from sun up to sun down.

So much to be grateful for while our days pass in a blur.

I was gone out of town yesterday (sorry for the late update!) so one of my daughters was so kind enough to come and take care of my pack while I was gone. She fell for Tonka instantly or perhaps it was the other way around! Needless to say everyone had a grand time!

I am incredibly lucky and blessed to have my 'pack' of girls to step in to care for my pack when I have to step out of town briefly.

All 3 of the other dogs also won her over very easily and had a great time with someone 'new'!

Meiko is looking like a million bucks lately. Not that she doesn't ever but she is definitely got the body score back from her last litter and is looking phenomenal. Her coat has a 2 tone look to it right now as she continues to shed out with this heat. Very light up front and then her rump has a slight caramel hue. Gorgeous Meiko and always a love bug.

Isla's body score is also definitely on par recently very much ready for this next chapter ahead! Plump, healthy, thick and fluffy. Always super attentive and zoned me to whomever and whatever is going on around her. Winning hearts constantly.

Leia was Tonka's main 'victim' this week so I didn't get a whole lot of posed photos of her but she is also thick, healthy and in perfect form for her own pups ahead. Her coat has thickened up quite a bit in density and curliness after she turned 2 which I'm thrilled about. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful dog. Love her to bits! SOoo incredibly happy with where all the dogs are at right now health wise and how they are scoring up.

Tonka is still on the girls like glue but instead of being glued just to Isla recently, he is now rotating through all 3 girls, thoroughly annoying them all. Trying to 'work his magic'

I am blessed to have this magic around here and once one of these girls shifts, I have no doubt the other 2 are going to sync right up with the 1st!!! Oh the 'joy' ha!

It's going to amazing, exceptional and open up so many options for so many families. The opportunity to have 3 litters to combine, have the option of and timing is nothing short of 'golden' for every family that is waiting for one of these incredible pups.

My celebration flags are back up now after being taken out by a tree last winter. Hard to see them in these photos but they fly once again to celebrate each and everyday around here. An old door was also added to our area and brings new energy to our space. A white picket fence/gate is in the works for the entry way which I'm excited about. My open time gives me the freedom to add and improve my space while I am waiting for puppies ahead. The 'full speed' of things ahead is daunting so I am very much enjoying my slower days now.

Off to our yearly OFA Health Clinic on Friday... with yes,....all 4 dogs. Everyone is getting their eye checks updated, heart checks updated, and Tonka goes in for an Echocardiogram, only for extra health clearances as he's my main man. Should be an 'interesting' field trip for sure....maybe I should call in for an extra set of hands that day!!! I don't expect any surprises whatsoever as it's just updating all ready golden scores but important non the less.

Enjoy the rain everyone!!!! Soggy dogs, lovely wet fresh ground and mud puddles for miles. Good luck with doggie bathing!!!
