Sunshine and Visitors, and visitors and sunshine is pretty much what filled our days this past week. A pretty uneventful week but really I'll take it! Everyone was healthy, happy, loving, lounging, hoppy, hippy and soaking every single moment they could up. The dogs always love visitors and the visitors thoroughly enjoy the dogs. A win win all around. Tonka was seriously working his magic on everyone!
Sunshine turns my dogs to mush. I look over at them 5 secs. after I let them out and they are sprawled out on the sand like a garage sale in full swing. Best garage sale ever!
Plenty of cat watching was had. Calcifur, our orange fluffster has taken to sleeping under my giant rhubarb leaves in the garden right outside the dog yard and the dogs are obsessed. Neema and Anya continue to be our entertainers (aka trouble makers) running chasing and rolling at every chance they can get. Digging at the base of the trees is their most favorite things to do driving me a bit batty. That's when they get locked into the side yard! Perfectly happy kids wherever I put them. Fine, you get to stay in there then.
Anya is growing so incredibly fast at a whopping 50 lbs. already. Her siblings are 32-42 lbs. Yup fed exactly the same amount of food. She's going to be a big girl! She's started to connect with me like her mama does. Comes and plants her forehead right into me. I am fascinated at what behaviors in dogs are based down through genetics. I am lucky (so far) that she doesn't drool like a leaky faucet like her mama when food comes out. She's snuggly and sweet just like her mama....but can this digging thing stop Anya!?!!!
All 3 mamas are doing well this week. Growing but not yet visually. Meiko will get an ultrasound confirmation (hopefully) on her pregnancy this upcoming week, Isla the next and Leia following shortly after her. So hold tight everyone! Crossing fingers for good news ahead. Grow my little potatoes GROW!
